In Dragon Ball Fighterz, UI Goku online can seem very brain dead and doesn't seem to require much brain power. However, today I have compiled most of his useful neutral tools and I broke them down in order to help you UNDERSTAND how to fight this DLC character in neutral, as well as to improve your own neutral while using this character. He has a lot of options, and can dominate neutral if he is used properly.

Being able to convert meterlessly full-screen is one of the reasons why I think a beam assist is very useful for UI.
1:04 j.S 236S
UI can also snipe opponents from long range. You can vanish after the beam as long as they didn't reflect the beam. If the j.S hits, just vanish for a confirm or keep zoning in neutral.

Always be aware of the distances because you might or might not cross up. Be ready to block and call an assist. If you don't have an assist, this turns into a RPS scenario where you can DP, Reversal, Mash, Vanish, or block. This is up to you guys if you want to engage without assists.
2:18 Jabbing SD
This looks at various ways UI can attack SD while in the air. You can also do his Level 1 Counter and his Level 3, but that's more universal.
Embodied Light acts as a 2H because 2H is also frame 4 invulnerable to air attacks.
3:35 Quick 22S thoughts
I never really see this move being used a lot. Yes it is a DP, but it also goes straight up which could be used in other situations other than just defensively.
3:58 6H
I see this move being used TOO much in neutral. It is REALLY only useful when dealing with beams or other gimmicks. Note that most people just vanish if you land it on other things that could be vanished (like ki blasts), so be ready to 2H.
Another use could be dealing with solo Guard Cancels but that's another topic and not really "neutral".
4:53 When NOT to 2H
Besides that, stop abusing 6H... It doesn't help: your opponent can keep on mashing. 6H is cool and all, but UI has a lot more tools than just that.
5:16 Neutral Flips
While Raw flips does catch people off guard at times, it's the most effective when dealing with assists or even solo neutral tools.
It can also be used for Oki and Sparking baits, but that's another topic.
6:08 How to DEAL with UI's Flips
As long as he doesn't cover himself with assists, the best way is to just Super Jump Float, and SD after you see him commit to an option or when his flips end. Vanishing and 2H is a popular option but gets stuffed easily by Embodied Light if the UI user has good reactions.
