Chrystia Freeland Blames Immigration for Canada's Housing Bubble
April 11, 2022 - Canada Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland explained "it's just a mathematical thing, Canada has the fastest growing population in the G7" as the reason for Canada's housing bubble. Freeland decried the inter-generational injustice created by Canada's high housing prices but did not comment on public records of her own multi-million dollar real estate portfolio or the role of investors like herself and many of her political colleagues who own multiple properties.
