Since 2005 our company has been successfully developing the technology of recycling industrial and household waste into the energy-efficient, heat-insulating material - SAITAX foam glass.
We have successfully developed and applied the unique technology to produce strengthened SAITAX foam glass for light and oil-well concretes that is actively used in various sectors of the national economy.
SAITAX #foamglass (#cellularglass/#foamceramics) is an innovative, heat-insulating material of the new generation that has no analogues or competitors in terms of its properties.
SAITAX foam glass is environmentally friendly, fire-resistant, water- and soundproof material with unlimited lifespan.
Characteristics of SAITAX foam glass:
• Fire safety category: NG (G-0);
• Applicable within temperatures: from -200°C to 800°C,
• Weight: from 100kg to 400kg/m3.
• Durability: up to 11 MPa;
• Thermo-insulating properties: from 0.05 W / mK
• Soundproof properties: up to 57dB
The thermo-insulating material SAITAX retains its permanent physical characteristics for more than 100 years. It does not collapse under the Winter-Summer cycles, SAITAX is not subject to being worn out intensively. It is possible to use SAITAX in the Far North conditions and at nuclear stations.
SAITAX foam glass is a completely inorganic heat insulation. It does not contain polyurethanes, which release toxic substances at room temperature. It neither contains any fast-breaking adhesive organic components, which are usually used in mineral wool slabs;
Foamed glass is resistant to severe weather conditions and aggressive environments, including acids and alkalis. SAITAX is not hygroscopic, it does not accumulate odors and is waterproof. It does not contribute to the development of fungi and bacteria; our foam glass is resistant to rodents and pests. SAITAX can be reused after being dismantled.
