A video tutorial on how to use our ScientiaJoints plugin.
We have released the ScientiaJoints plugin, which includes all this functionality in a user-friendly interface. With it, you can export crack direction measurements in CSV format. With the plugin, the crack mapping process has become much more visual. You can now see the fracture diagram for all measurements in real time. This will allow you to get more representative data during surveying.
With the help of photorealistic models, you can also collect information about the distance between fractures. For this purpose, we added a histogram of the distribution of all performed measurements, as well as statistical parameters of the created sample.
In the plugin we added quick shader tuning, for improved model visualization.

Using the described approach you will be able to apply 3D models built by photogrammetry or lidar surveying methods for structural surveying using different programs such as Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape and others.
