Get ready to re-enter the terrifying world of Resident Evil 1, but this time, the nightmare is even more oppressive! In this video, I'm showcasing Chris Redfield gameplay from my Resident Evil 1 Remake concept built entirely in Unreal Engine 5.
I've focused on creating a much darker, denser, and heavier atmosphere, pushing the boundaries of survival horror. You'll explore the creepy forest cabin area and step through the iconic doors of the Spencer Mansion, experiencing pure, oppressive terror.
Pay close attention to Chris Redfield's model – I recreated him from scratch to bring an extremely realistic aesthetic, aiming for exactly what I imagine Capcom would do today in an official RE1 Remake. This is a fan project driven by passion, demonstrating the incredible power of UE5 to deliver next-gen horror.
If you're a fan of Resident Evil, Unreal Engine 5 development, or survival horror games, you won't want to miss this! Your support helps bring more fan projects and game development content to life. Let me know what you think of Chris's new look in the comments!
