Avaya J169 & J179: Supervised Transfer
Learn how to use your J169 or J179 series phone to transfer a call supervised.
During a supervised transfer, you're first placed in contact with the person you're forwarding to allowing you to share information about the nature of the call. This contrasts with blind transfer a method wherein the call is forwarded directly to the chosen extension.
If you need to forward calls along quickly you may consider using blind transfer instead.
