The Islamic story of Abdurrahman ibn Auf, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It is said that Abdurrahman ibn Auf was a wealthy man with abundant wealth. However, amidst his abundance, he felt anxious. Therefore, Abdurrahman ibn Auf always prayed that Allah would make him poor.
Eventually, he took the initiative to buy rotten dates from everyone in Medina to quickly deplete his wealth.
Hopefully, this inspiring story of charity, full of wisdom, can motivate us to emulate the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions. Insha Allah.
