With just five days to explore Bali, having experienced bird guides was absolutely essential for making the most of our trip.
At Sarimbuana Eco Lodge, Pak Made, their expert guide, introduced us to some incredible bird species right on the lodge grounds. His knowledge and enthusiasm truly enhanced our experience.
Over at West Bali National Park, Muhamad Idris guided us through the park on a particularly windy day. Despite arriving quite late (around 10 p.m.), Idris managed to show us some truly unique and remarkable species, demonstrating his deep expertise and sharp eyes.
Our driver Nyoman, who also works with Sarimbuana Eco Lodge, impressed us with his passion for birding, keen observational skills, and excellent driving.
We can’t recommend Sarimbuana Eco Lodge enough! The team is incredibly friendly, the pool is fantastic, and the food is simply superb.
