This tutorial makes your Microphone sound better in any application such as Skype, FRAPS, Garageband, DxTory, Mirillis Action, you name it! In the tutorial I show you how to use a free program called "VB-Audio Virtual Cable", a virtual Microphone and speaker program to edit your audio in real-time so that you can simulate having a top notch mic on lower tier microphones! Although this is not a replacement for those fancy $500 Microphones, you can sure get near close audio using this tutorial's techniques with fairly decent hardware! For the tutorial, I will also be using Adobe Audition CC to show you guys how to use the "Effects Rack" to edit your audio in realtime and add effects to synthesize and exemplify your voice to sound better. Adobe Audition is a great piece of software that I love to use so I highly recommend getting it, even if you don't want to follow this tutorial. We will be using the "Direct Output" of Adobe Audition to export the edited audio to "VB-Audio Virtual Cable" as if it were an actual microphone sitting on your desk. You can then continue to use that microphone to record your newly edited vocals/audio in any program that you want! Because it exports as a real microphone, this means that wherever you can use a real microphone, you can use the new virtual microphone that we setup!
