How to check the capacitor, without using a measuring instrument
In this video we will check the capacitor, without using a measuring instrument. What you need to prepare is an outlet with the voltage stated on the capacitor. Here I use a rated voltage of 209 Volts. These two capacitors have the same capacity, namely 1.2 micro farad. Let's first empty the capacitor's charge. then we connect the capacitor to the socket. then we connect the capacitor input cable. Very small electrical sparks can be seen. then I will try this capacitor. Let's first discharge the charge on the capacitor. then I connected the capacitor to the socket. now we connect the capacitor input cable. You can see a fairly large spark of electric charge. bigger than the first capacitor. OK, let's try again.
