Why Sparkle is Lackluster | Honkai: Star Rail 2.7
Sparkle was one of my favorite characters in Penacony and with all the talk about powercreep these days, I figured it'd be a great time to go over how I personally think Sparkle has aged poorly and is only falling off. Despite being a 2.0 character, her kit was designed to be lesser from the start, all because of Hoyoverse's fear in making IL Dan Heng too broken. But that doesn't matter so much now when he has fallen off heavily and every new DPS character easily outperforms his peaks. Now these drawbacks are truly coming to light with the new harmony Sunday, which will do everything she wants to do and more. Unless we ever get another unit who needs her SP cap increase, she likely will eventually get replaced by another unit that does the SP niche better.
It's perfectly okay if you don't agree with me but I tried my very best to explain my points with direct comparisons and reasons why.
