ISB Ed Tech Retreat 2024 | Highlights
A learning environment seamlessly fostering digital citizenship, technology skills, and AI fluency to support all students. Personalized AI tutors providing custom learning support. A campus featuring LED walls, wearable technology, organic gardens, state-of-the-art wellness facilities, test kitchens, and an outdoor learning center. New ISB supports robots roaming the campus to assist students. Classrooms designed for flexibility, ergonomics, visibility, and wellness. Innovative funding structures balancing learning needs, user data, and qualitative feedback to ensure a high return on investment on all technology purchases. These are some of the bold visions shared by attendees of the 2024 ISB EdTech Retreat.
On September 6th, ISB students, teachers, administrators, parents, and board members gathered to envision the future of educational technology at ISB. Through visioning activities, SWOT analysis of our current technology, and a prioritization exercise, attendees generated actionable insights for the next ISB technology plan.
ISB students demonstrated exceptional work ethic, agency, and professionalism as they advocated for themselves and their learning. We will provide updates on the new technology plan as work progresses throughout the year. An exciting future awaits us at ISB!
