Introducing the Utzon™ stool | Seating | Fritz Hansen
The Utzon Stool is a captivating creative expression by
acclaimed Danish architect Jørn Utzon. It was designed
during the same period as the Sydney Opera House and
carries in its form the same inspiration Utzon took from
nature coupled with maritime influences from his childhood.
The Utzon Stool exudes an extrovert playfulness in its
fascinating appearance. It is meticulously crafted from oiled
solid beech wood, veneer beech wood, and adorned with
beautiful brass detailing. The stool is deceptively comfortable
and stands as a testament to Utzon's rare ability to distil
complex organic shapes into functional forms.
