Atlanta 39 - Approach/Departure ATC Simulation
Moderate easterly winds, 20 max aircraft, 20x timelapse. The strategy experiments continue... this time I'm slowing aircraft from the northeast/southeast to 210 kts before descending them into class B airspace. This yields a nice slow procession of traffic on the downwind leg. Additionally I've started climbing west-bound departures to 14,000 to get them out of class B airspace before handing off to IFR (to FL 370)
