This Huawei Ban (Act) is MUCH bigger than you think

The U.S. just keeps making things harder and harder for Huawei. But this time, it looks like the U.S. might go a step further and make it completely impossible for Huawei to purchase anything that’s made in the U.S. That is because, US has made a new National Defense Authorization Act which is unveiled on Saturday. Well guys, this new act will make it nearly impossible for Defense Department contractors to sell semiconductors, like chip-making equipment, and tools for designing semiconductors to Huawei and its partners. So, As noted by Bloomberg, the U.S. defense bill includes a significant rule that blocks the “business” route for Huawei chip suppliers. It limits the Pentagon company from teaming up with firms linked with Huawei that supply it with PC chips and services.
