Maya Animation Tips - Editable Motion Trails. Arcs in motion are one of the 12 principles of animation. Editable motion trails allows us to visualize that arc on our characters and let's us edit that path quickly without having to flip back and forth between frames. This is a great tool for all stage of animation but especially in polish when you are fine tuning those arcs.
