As working from home has become more of a reality for everyone, so has the quest to optimize the home office. One of the things we take for granted is optimal lighting and ergonomics that most workplaces invest in. Having a good lighting setup is key to being happy working from home. I found desk lamps in the past, while usable, leave a lot to be desired. For one thing, they can take both space on the desk, or our field of view. They don't do a great job of lighting the workplace as they create "hotspots" of well lit areas that can over expose your eyes. They also tend to create glare on your screen. The screenbar on the other hand uses no desk space and their directional LED light means that screen glare is reduced.
