MicroFreak Update 5.0 - How does it sound? (37 min. improvised playing feat. PO 33)

Many thought that the MicroFreak would be dropped with the release of ARTURIA's MiniFreak. But instead, ARTURIA is now releasing Update 5.0, 1.5 years after Update 4.0.
Incomprehensible.
ARTURIA invited me to try out the update in advance and make a video about it. Now I know that most of them do exactly this: they record a video in which they explain what has changed and that's it. Unfortunately, very few go one step further to show the potential that MicroFreak has.
If the MicroFreak was already cost-effective and beginner-friendly at around EUR 350 and became unrivaled with every new update (just think of the vocoder that nobody expected and the possibility for your own wavetables), ARTURIA is now shooting with Update 5.0 finally the bird.
Here is a brief overview of the features:
Sample import & playback
Load up to 128 samples (max 24 sec up to 3.5 min)
3 new granular engines
Scan grains, cloud grains, hit grains
increase of maximum presets from 384 to 512
Keyboard Random Source (Key/Arp Randomness)
Well, last week I actually recorded a video where I do exactly what everyone else does: I explain the features and that's it.
I wasn't happy with that. That's not me. If you want to know what features are available and how they work technically, then take a look at @OscillatorSink or @FreeBeat for example.
My wish was to work with it and show the potential we now have in our hands. For this I loaded some of my own Samples on to the MicroFreak (mostly from the Loopmaster Pack 2016) and recorded a presentation video with a lot of music, because isn't that what we all want? Making Music?
Of course it's all very experimental and improvised and there are sometimes mistakes or a break. But that's normal.
