SNOWBIRD '23
Snow-day flight. This is a new tradition for me - I must get out there on the first snow day and fly Snowbird - my water-resistant drone, built specifically for flying in the snow. Long story short, this is to honor my nephew who was just getting into drones because of me and unexpectedly passed away a little over a year ago on January 8th, 2022. We'd share flights here on YouTube, and this is the real reason my channel even exists - it was all kind of a tongue-in-cheek endeavor. Unfortunately, my nephew didn't get to see Snowbird fly, my last, unopened IM to him was me bragging about my "new build". Not an hour later I learned of his passing. Rest in peace Caleb, I'll never be able to fly nor build another drone without wanting to tell you all about it.
