Netanyahu Calls for Protests in Iran in Message Focusing on Water Crisis
In a video message, the Israeli prime minister called for “people to take to the streets and liberate Iran,” referring to the water, electricity and inflation crises in Iran.
In the message, which was released with Persian subtitles, Benjamin Netanyahu referred to recent statements by Iranian President Masoud Pezzekian, who said the country was facing problems related to electricity, water and inflation. The Israeli prime minister concluded that the situation in Iran was “collapsing.”
In another part of his video message, Netanyahu said that the Iranian people were not alone, “I am with you. Israel is with you. Soon your country will be free and there will be plenty of water.”
