Virtual Aviation Series: My MSFS 2020 NeoFly Career | BeyondATC | Active Sky
The virtual aviation series continues. We are using MSFS 2020 along with NeoFly to simulate my Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 career mode. We are now using BeyondATC for all of our air traffic control needs and we are using Active Sky in MSFS 2020 to generate realistic weather and weather effects. Active Sky is a third party software that can be run alongside Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, integrates well and is easy to set up.
We have upgraded from the Sting S4 (our starting aircraft in NeoFly) and have rented a Vision Jet in NeoFly. We rented the Vision Jet in Boston and have flown several flights in it creating some pretty good cash flow and we have finally started making money in NeoFly. I truly enjoy flying the Sting S4 and it will be back in the series, but I plan on using it mainly for NeoFly tourist missions. This is a role I think the Sting S4 excels in.

Virtual Aviation Career Episode 1 is an 8 minute pre-recorded video to introduce the series, provide a loose plan and fly our first flight in NeoFly in the Sting S4. It also provided a basic overview if you are new to NeoFly and using it as Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Career Mode.
In case you are wondering, you didn't miss Episodes 16 & 17. I have recorded them off-stream and will insert them into the playlist. Episode 16 will be a flight from Lovell Airport (KCHA) in Chattanooga, TN (where we ended the 10hr long live Episode 15) and we flew to Campbell Army Air Base (KHOP) where this episode begins. Episode 17 is a side-quest of sorts and will be a recorded episode of the Cessna 208B Grand Caravan at a very small airstrip outside of KHOP. It will be released as soon as I can get it editted.
Episode Plan: We are starting Episode 18 at Cambell Army Air Base (KHOP) in Hopkinsville, KY and are flying to Addison Airport (KADS) in Dallas, TX. We are taking 2 passengers along and the payment should be about $70,000.00. We will see where the jobs and flights bring us from there in this virtual aviation livestream. We are using SimBrief for our flight plans today, using BeyondATC for our air traffic control needs and the realistic and live weather for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is generated by Active Sky (which started in Episode 11).
