Jack The Ripper And The Night Of The Double Murder - 30th September 1888.
In this video, we explore the events of the night of 29th - 30th of September, 1888, when, after an absence of several weeks, the Whitechapel murderer returned and carried out two murders in less than an hour.
We follow the two victims, Elizabeth Stride and Catherine Eddowes through what would prove to be the last night of their lives; learn of various witnesses who claimed to have seen them in the company of men in the minutes leading up to their deaths; learn how their bodies were discovered; and join the police in the aftermath of the murders, as they fan out into the streets to hunt the perpetrator of the crimes.
