In this video, I explain the current status of every island in the Caribbean Sea, going over all of the various countries and territories.
Notes/Clarifications:
This is my first time creating a geography-related video of any kind, and I do not have any expertise or research in the field, so this video was created because I had an interest in the subject at the time and I wanted to create a video about the topic. I do not intend for it to be used as a reliable source of information, because this is a personal project.
I mentioned this in the video, but I underestimated the difficulty of creating a video on a subject like this, and the script for the third part ended up being very shallow and did not sufficiently cover the histories of the islands. I have noticed that it would be beyond the scope of this video, but I realise how that can appear as if I am "covering up" the history. My next video will definitely not be about a heavy subject like this.
Concerning pronunciations, I tried my best to pronounce every entity's name correctly by double checking multiple times, but several mistakes may have slipped through the cracks (for example, I mispronounce "Bonaire" and "Saba" in the video). I apologise for any mistakes present.
I would have loved to include source citations, but while writing the script (which was a long time ago), I mostly used the information I was already familiar with, and for all other trivial information (such as the list of currencies shown) I unfortunately used Wikipedia (yes, I know, it's not a good idea to do that. Once again, the next video will be about a subject that does not require me to verify everything I say, and I have learned many lessons from attempting a video like this one).
Corrections:
At 3:20, I accidentally circled some of the US Virgin Islands as some of the British Virgin Islands. Several of the ones in the southwest are actually part of the US Virgin Islands. I apologise for this mistake.
