Welcome to the NHK | NHK ni Youkoso! - Tatsuhiro Sato is a 22-year-old boy who believes that everything that happens around him is the result of a conspiracy. He has no job, no friends, no girlfriend, he has difficulty communicating with people and practically does not leave the house. People like him are called hikikomori in Japan.
Sato is sure that NHK is the cause of everything. It is NHK that is behind the conversion of people into hikikomori.
Sato has been locked up for three years, and the fourth is coming to an end. The guy is desperate for help and realizes that he needs to go outside and find a job, however, this scares him too much.
