'The dream is to be the top dog' Flint boxer chases heavyweight title
Flint native DeAndre Savage threw his first punch in the boxing ring when he was 25 years old.
Eight years later, he's still fighting. He's motivated to achieve success and share it with his community, he said.
"I gotta keep doing big things in boxing," Savage said as he walked through the neighborhood he used to live in. "Hopefully, I can turn this neighborhood into a gated community."
