Debussy Estampes
“When you don’t have any money to go on holiday, you must make do by using your imagination.” – Debussy
The word “Estampes” in French means to “print or engrave”. Debussy was inspired by exotic Asian and Western art when he visited the Paris World Conference Exhibition in 1889, and later in 1900. He finished the three movements in 1903.
