DIY bipolar power supply from a transformer with one secondary winding: circuit diagram and board.
Hi friends, I needed a bipolar power supply for my NE5532 tone control unit. But I couldn't find a suitable transformer with two secondary windings. Then I remembered this wonderful bipolar power supply circuit. It uses a transformer with a single secondary winding. With some minor modifications to the standard circuit, we can achieve full bipolar power supply. I'll tell you all about it and demonstrate it in this video. We'll assemble the board and take measurements.
