What is the Internet of Things?
In 1982 Coca Cola installed a vending machine in a University campus becoming the 1st company to interconnect smart devices. However, the term Internet of things was coined much later in 1999 by Kevin Ashton of Proctor & Gamble.
Almost a decade later, in 2008-09, is when IoT is supposed to have come of age.
This video will introduce you to the concept of Internet of Things and help you understand, using simple terms and explanations, how this technology is being employed in various fields – home, healthcare, industries, agriculture….you name it.
