Ruddy Turnstone is a bird that always entertains with its busy and quarrelsome nature and variety of interesting feeding methods. These Turnstones, Arenaria interpres, are found in all continents of the world but its colourful plumage and characterful nature make it one of my favourite species of bird. In this video I share some close up footage of Ruddy Turnstones from Shellness, in Kent, UK, and show you how I got close to them.
