Nimrod Arnin is an entrepreneur, party producer, and bereaved brother. Nimrod is the founder of the Al-Nuba Production and Community.
The party that Al-Nuba produced on October 7 was one of the main centers of the massacre on Israel's southern border, and since those events, the Al-Nuba team has worked to help authorities locate missing persons and identify bodies in the first days, and to provide ongoing psychological support to survivors in the days and weeks that followed.
Al-Nuba currently operates the "Healing Space" - a closed mental health complex that accommodates the thousands of young people who participated in the parties in the Gaza Envelope. The space is staffed by dozens of therapists - psychologists, psychiatrists, clinical social workers, psychotherapists, and certified clinical instructors - and also includes community and experiential activities.
In a moving conversation, Nimrod told his personal story for the first time - how he survived the terrible massacre, what the days and hours that followed were like, and how Nova Production works to provide an ongoing response to the survivors of the southern parties. During the massacre in the south, Nimrod's younger sister, Ayelet Arnin, of blessed memory, was also murdered - and we talked about her and her story in the episode.
