More Honey More Problems
SF State hosts a weekly Farmers Market where Dirk Kiehne, a beekeeper, sells his honey to students. The Farmers Market shut down in Spring 2020 due to COVID-19 and Kiehne's sales dropped. Many of his hives died from the winter weather, leaving him with only one. He restored to selling to his neighbors to continue his love for beekeeping with his leftover hive. With the market running again, Kiehne can now expand into more hives and produces more honey than ever.
