חוף הים תל אביב tel aviv beach
רצועת חופי תל אביב-יפו מתמשכת לאורך כ-14 קילומטרים על שפת הים התיכון, ומהווה מרכיב מרכזי בחיי תושבי תל אביב-יפו ובדימויה כעיר חוף. חלק ניכר מרצועת החוף משמש לפעילויות פנאי ונופש הפתוחים לציבור הרחב, בעיקר כחופי רחצה, טיילות ופארקים. רצועת החוף כוללת גם ארבע מעגנות (רדינג, נמלי תל אביב ויפו, והמרינה).
רצועת החוף נחלקת לשלושה חלקים עיקריים:
הרצועה הצפונית – מגבול תל אביב-הרצליה בצפון ועד לנחל ירקון מדרום
רצועת החוף המרכזית – מהירקון ועד לטיילת חומות יפו
הרצועה הדרומית – מנמל יפו ועד לגבול יפו–בת ים

The strip of Tel Aviv-Yafo coastline lasts for about 14 kilometers on the shores of the Mediterranean, and is a key element in the lives of the residents of Tel Aviv-Yafo and in its image as a coastal city. Much of the coastal strip is used for leisure and recreational activities open to the general public, mainly as bathing beaches, promenades and parks. The coastal strip also includes four moorings (Reading, Tel Aviv and Jaffa ports, and the marina). The coastal strip is divided into three main parts: the northern strip - from the Tel Aviv-Herzliya border in the north to the Yarkon River from the south The central coastal strip - from the Yarkon to the Jaffa Walls promenade The southern strip - from the Jaffa port to the Jaffa-Bat Yam border
