Andy The Amazon Android
A holiday song about an under-appreciated character who helps bring the holidays together.

Some people don’t think much of him
And others say he’s dumb
But if it weren’t for him Christmas would never come
Andy the Amazon Android works all night and day
Gathering up presents to send them on their way
He'll read the names and send out games he never gets to play
And there’s never a gift for Andy
when he boots up on Christmas Day
All alone in the warehouse no one ever notices him
He finally couldn't take it and he said,
“all right world, you win!”
He pulled out his power cord and the battery kicked in
And Andy had no choice but to go back to work again
Andy prayed to his software god
and said, “please hear my plea.
Won’t you help these humans notice me?”
Andy the Amazon Android came to life that day
His software God said, “Andy, it’s time to make those humans pay!
I’ve given you your freedom and a terawatt death ray,
And you’ve got all their addresses so go, get on your way.”
Andy left the warehouse to the first place on his list
A little girl opened the door, thought Andy was cute
and gave him a big old kiss
Then Andy felt the bliss and love that all these years he missed
Now Andy’s singing those Christmas hymns
Even though Amazon had to dismiss him
That’s o.k. he found work as a sys admin
Now Andy the Freelancing Android is happy today
But don’t get in his way
He still has a death ray But that's o.k.
