Rafting on the Sakmara
Our group in early may of 2017 went to the beautiful river Sakmara in Resp. Bashkortostan. Some have been here before, but I, the author of this video blog was at the river for the first time.
I want to note three things:
1. The river is great for those who want to start Hiking. If you've been sitting on your ass at home and dream of somewhere to start, now you have no more excuses. Go to the Sakmara - perfect. Just keep in mind the water level (should be not too big and not too small), of course the weather, and the abundance of ticks, take repellant. For all details, contact Alexander [email protected]
2.The Bashkirs are very kind and hospitable people. During the March several times were treated to food and everyone wanted to tell something about the area or answer our questions.
