Mama cat calls kittens for food then does the cutest thing
I've seen many good mommy cats, but she is truly exceptional. When I arrived, there was no food around, so she must have been hungry. Despite her hunger, she called her kittens to eat first. She didn't touch the wet food, opting for the dry food instead because she knew her kittens would enjoy the wet food more. Another reason she is such a great mother is that most mother cats leave their kittens on their own when they are around 2 or 2.5 months old. But this little tortie continues to be an amazing mother to her kittens, even though they are at least 4 or 5 months old.
