Originally the soundtrack to the 1955 film "Maksim Perepelitsa," the song became immensely popular and has become a quintessential Russian military anthem. Its lyrics, which vividly portray the bravery and resilience of soldiers, are characteristic. There are also numerous remakes of this song, with East German, Chinese, and North Korean versions being particularly popular.
I arranged this song because it's a personal favorite of mine.
