Most players auto-take econ augments and econ rounds thinking it's the safe path to fast 9. It's not — it's the risky path. In this Road to Masters game I skip econ entirely, run strongest board from Stage 1-2, and push fast 9 off the tempo lead. The gold I "lost" early is what actually earned me more money in the long run.
What this game covers:
Why taking econ early can actually delay your fast 9 timing
What is Strongest board early and mid game as the real setup for a level push
Spending HP as a resource instead of hoarding it once you can go 9
Navigating a comp based off your item slams you made early game.
This is part of my Road to Masters series where I climb from Unranked to Masters on a fresh account, one game at a time.
