Kayla the Hoopster
This is my third photo session with Kayla and as a new model she is really learning fast how to create great images of herself in front of the camera. This fashion-portrait session was captured in front of a friend's red barn with a basketball hoop attached and was the impetus for the idea of photographing Kayla in sportswear. I shot at the start of sunset to capture rich warm tones while using natural lighting and sometimes filling in shadows with onboard flash at camera level and white foamboard.
