"If it's hostile, you kill it."
"Force answers force, war breeds war, and death only brings death. To break this vicious circle one must do more than just act without any thought or doubt."
I'm playing this game controller only (DualShock 4 despite the 360 button prompts) for several reasons:
first, I'm honestly too good at this game with keyboard and mouse, it's honestly just not a challenge for me anymore, however I'm absolutely trash with a controller so it's a fun challenge for me to try a different input method! It's also more consistent with the roleplay of the main character being young and unexperienced with warfare, he is struggling and so will I.
second, while I usually much prefer k&m in shooters, for some reason, I feel this game works better with a controller for the immersion factor, the rumble works very well and feels very connected to what's happening in the game, and the movement is more organic, while sadly with keyboard the movement is very binary and there is no acceleration or deceleration when you start or stop moving, which feels very disjointed and non organic.
third, I just can't get a stable framerate on this game, despite my pretty good computer, most of the time the game runs at 120 FPS but often it drops to 70 FPS! And lowering settings helps but not that much, 60 FPS doesn't feel very good on a mouse compared to 120 FPS+, but with a controller it's more acceptable because of the slower, more linear nature of the camera movement.
