Gaming Through The Ages Phase 2 - 1989 - SimCity - DOS
So, it's time to build a city is it? Well we just need some houses, shops and oh yea, electicity, roads and some industry. Um... Oh no, Highway shootings???? Time for a police station! Tax Complaints... I better lower those taxes! And now a stadium? Oh boy, these people are so demanding! And... Tornados, fires, flooding and a... MONSTER! What the heck is going on!

In each episode of gaming through the ages we will play one game from each year in chronological order starting from 1978. We will watch as black and white text on a screen turns into millions of colours in a 3d expansive living and breathing universe. Once we reach modern times (e.g. 2017) we will jump back to the 1970's and start Phase 3 where we explore a different group of games on handheld consoles.
