April's Tune (Angela Mair)
Dear Friends, Dear Visitors!
It is a great blessing for me to listen to and play the music of Angela Mair.
Ever since I received the Coming Home booklet as a gift from her, I have been playing her pieces every day.
I have loved this piece since I heard it and wanted to record it because I want as many people as possible to hear it.
The cover was taken in the castle of Szigliget near Lake Balaton (Plattensee). In the distance you can see the Badacsony mountain, which used to be a volcano and is now an excellent wine region.
The guitar is the work of a Hungarian luthier, Késmárky Levente.
