Last year we had a big surprise. Jean-Michel Coquery wrote a duo for my friend Étienne and me.
The title of the duo is "Les deux compères" or "Two friends".
We are very pleased to present you this piece. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jean-Michel Coquery for this lovely gift, which I will never forget. This is a huge thing for me.
Equally a great gift for me is Étienne, who has become a very good friend of mine during the time we have played together.
The first dialogue
Gardalino: "Kezdhetjük Étienne?" (Shall we start, Étienne?)
Étienne: "Oui, on peut commencer." (Yes, we can start.)
The second dialogue
Gardalino: "Köszönöm szépen barátom." (Thank you so much my friend.)
Étienne: "Merci à toi, Gardalino." (Thank you, Gardalino.)
