Funguy The Entertainer Make Bread Machine Bread And It FAILS!
The first loaf was a HUGE FAIL! The yeast was expired and I ended up with brick that I fed to the birds. I made a second loaf (which is shown in the photo at the end of the show) that was much better so follow the ingredients listed below, not what I say during the show! It is an old fashioned white bread which means it is still a heavier bread than the white bread you get from the grocery store which is soft due to softening agents not added to this recipe.
Things You Need;
Bread Machine
Cooling Rack
Ingredients;
1 1/3 cup milk 60 - 75 degrees
3 1/3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 Tbls sugar
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 package (2 tsp) active dry yeast
2 Tbls butter
Recipe;
Add room temperature milk to machine.
Add flour, sugar and salt.
Make a small well (indent) in center of dry ingredients and add yeast.
Cut butter into 4 pieces and put one piece in each corner.
Close lid, plug in machine, select 1.5 lb loaf and medium brown and walk away. In slightly less than 3 hours you will have a loaf of fresh bread.
Using mitts, pull pan out of machine and release bread onto cooling rack.
Wait 10 - 20 mins then serve!
