Parable of the Wicked Tenants, Matt
Towards the tale end of Jesus' ministry, he goes to Jerusalem, where he is received like a king. He kicks the merchants out of the temple and heals the lame and the sick. To some this means that he is the awaited Messiah. The Chief Priests and the Elders, the religious leadership of Jerusalem, are skeptical so they ask him under who's authority he is doing all of those things. Jesus does not answer but tells them two parables, The Parable of the Two Sons and the Parable of The Wicked Tenants, that are meant to criticize the religious leaders. They are also a very rebellious and upfront statement for the justice of the Kingdom of God
