From Hesitation to Creation: The Story Behind My Bat Necklace 🦇
Is this a story about a bat necklace (or should I say chiroptera necklace?) inspired by a haunting vampire musical saga? Or is it a story about pushing aside doubt and finally taking action? Maybe it’s both.
In this video, I share how a conversation with my mentor pushed me to stop overthinking and start creating. It all started with a Halloween-themed collaboration with artist Sheri Lauren and musician Jack Elliott, whose eerie vampire saga set the perfect tone. Inspired by gothic aesthetics and Victorian-era jewelry, I designed a bat necklace featuring a deep purple amethyst—tying together the dark, elegant themes of vampiric lore.
