Here I'm showing you how to block EyeTV from invalidating your serial codes. So you can have the latest EyeTV for free :) It's easy once you know how to do it.

Here are the commands you need for terminal:

"sudo rm /Users/Shared/Library/Preferences/com.elgato.eyetv.plist"
and
"sudo rm /Users/Shared/Library/Preferences/com.elgato.eyetv.world.plist"

Here is the serial you need:
MHTYD-8G5MJQU-PLPNCSP-JS2DHQR

And here is what you need to add to your hosts file:
127.0.0.1 services.elgato.com
127.0.0.1 updates.elgato.com
127.0.0.1 services.eyetv.com
