How to Change the Default Language in WordPress
Changing the default language (English - US) in WordPress is a very simple task since v4.0. All you have to do is:
1. Log into WordPress;
2. Go to Settings - General;
3. Scroll down to Site Language;
4. Click the drop-down menu and choose your language;
5. Press the Save Changes button.
That's it!
Note: If your theme uses some of WordPress' default files and functions, then things like sidebar / widgets, comments, etc., will also get translated.
