How to Add a Menu Item in WordPress Without Linking to a Page

When creating a drop-down menu in WordPress, you might not want the parent item to link to any page.
In order to do that, you have to:
1. Go to Appearance - Menus.
2. Select Custom Links, add a Link Text and the # sign in the URL field.
3. Press the Add to Menu button.
4. Open the custom link that you added and remove the # sign.
5. Save the menu.
That's it! The WordPress menu item will not be linked to any page now!
