The war is between humans and AI. Joshua (John David Washington), a former special agent, is worried about the disappearance of his wife, Maya (Gemma Chan). Then he is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, an advanced AI architect who always manages to escape when he wants to be captured.
On the other hand, the Creator has also developed a mysterious weapon that has the power to prolong humanity. Joshua and his elite operations team then explored and crossed enemy territory lines to find dangerous weapons that had been designed by the Creator.
