Hello! I'm Emrah Çelik. I'm a sound and computer engineer born in 1980, a father of two, and living in Sweden. I've been working with computer-based music since 1997. I've performed as a DJ in many parts of Türkiye and around the world, producing songs that have been number one on the charts for months, entered the playlists of many famous DJs, and achieved significant sales. After studying sound engineering and music production in Sweden, I began as a lecturer at Sweden's second-largest university. My successes led me to become a training leader, training sound engineers. I continued in this role for eight years before resigning in 2022 and returning to university to study systems engineering to develop software for sound technologies. During this time, I was nominated twice for Producer of the Year and won the Producer of the Year award in the mixing and mastering category at the Swedish Local Heroes Awards in 2020. I also hold certifications from Grammy-winning Andrew Scheps and Greg Wells, two of the world's leading sound engineers, and have been mentored by Grammy-winning John Peterno. I founded and launched MIXYAP in 2015 to address the resource gap in Türkiye in the fields of sound technologies, sound engineering, mixing, and mastering. Welcome to Mixyap!
